Nickerson, USD 309, is Reno County's third largest school district with nearly 1,200 students. It serves the communities of South Hutchinson, Nickerson and surrounding rural areas. Students at all grade levels have an opportunity to particpate in numerous

academic and extra-curricular activites. Student achievement has been very good, and most students go on to futher their

education after high school.
